A WD My Passport formatted with Mac file system will be a dud on the Windows and vice-versa. Thankfully, MS-DOS FAT32 and ex-FAT formats have survived to date, and these are the file system to make your WD My Passport work with a Mac and a Windows PC simultaneously. Ok, maybe i’m not understanding, but i’m still a bit confused. My Passport is already formatted for Macs. From what i’m understanding the NTFS is made to make Passports that are formatted for PCs useable on Macs. I don’t need that. I need something that i can download on a PC to make my Passport work on a PC. Is there a NTFS program that i can download on a PC to format it? Free powerpoint templates. Or is the FAT32 program made so i can download it on a PC to format my Passport to be PC useable? I hope i’m being clear, if not i’m sorry. Like I said, computers aren’t my thing.
